Today's technology has evolved far beyond the flat plate collectors once commonly associated with solar energy. In fact, NTS Solar collectors perform three to four times more efficiently than photovoltaic (PV) systems, and twice as well as Sidney tube collectors.

The secret to our superior performance is the vacuum seal within our tubes that insulates the absorber and flow through pipe to minimize heat loss.

The Principle of a Solar Thermal Installation

Solar thermal installations consist of a solar collector on the roof, a control unit with a pump and a potable water storage tank. The solar collector absorbs the heat from the sun‘s radiation (infrared and UV) and transfers it onto the solar liquid (transport medium) which heats the water in the potable water storage tank.
